Our Story

After being part of the leadership team in a church in Mexico for 13 years, Ollie and Annie Lamping moved to Reading in 2015 to plant Bright Hope. After settling in the UK and being divinely connected with Paul and Heather Garratt in 2016 a Tuesday night Bible study began, although for several months nobody came. 

Undeterred we had our first Sunday meeting at a hotel in Lower Earley later that year. Friends and family joined to encourage and pray for this new endeavour. Since then, we have met in various places and God has slowly brought others into the Bright Hope family. We currently meet at Grazeley Village Halll.
